A playful and delicious Halloween charcuterie board that combines sweet candy corn with savory cheeses, meats, and crunchy snacks. Perfect for parties, movie nights, or trick-or-treating fuel.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, whole wheel
  • 6 ounces smoked gouda, sliced into thin wedges
  • 4 ounces goat cheese log, plain or honey-flavored
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup chocolate-covered pretzels
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate squares, broken into pieces
  • 6 ounces salami or prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 1/4 cup roasted and salted pumpkin seeds
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • 1/2 cup black olives
  • 1/4 cup edible eyeball candies (optional)
  • Orange and black sprinkles for dusting

Instructions

  1. Take cheddar and gouda out of fridge 30 minutes before assembling. Cut cheddar into 1-inch cubes and gouda into thin wedges. Leave brie whole.
  2. Place board on flat surface. Position small bowls for candy corn and olives at opposite ends. Place candy corn bowl front and center.
  3. Place brie wheel in upper left corner. Arrange cheddar cubes diagonally from brie toward center. Put gouda wedges in upper right corner. Crumble goat cheese near center.
  4. Fold salami slices into quarters and arrange in a fan pattern along bottom edge. Drape prosciutto in loose waves if using.
  5. Pour candy corn into its bowl and scatter a handful directly on board around cheese. Place chocolate-covered pretzels near goat cheese.
  6. Sprinkle pumpkin seeds in a thin line between cheese and meat. Place dried cranberries in small piles. Add dark chocolate squares near brie.
  7. Arrange black olives in small groups to look like spider clusters. Place edible eyeballs peeking from behind cheese. Tuck rosemary sprigs between cheese wedges.
  8. Dust entire board lightly with orange and black sprinkles. Adjust any unbalanced elements.
  9. Serve immediately within an hour of assembling. Provide small plates and napkins.

Notes

Assemble no more than an hour before serving. Keep candy corn in a separate bowl to prevent stickiness. For best flavor, bring cheeses to room temperature before serving. Double candy corn and pretzels as they disappear first.
