A simple, tasty, and wallet-friendly fruit punch perfect for large groups, using frozen fruit to keep it chilled without dilution. Ideal for casual gatherings and hot days.

  • 4 cups (600 g) frozen mixed fruit (berries, mango, pineapple)
  • 4 cups (1 liter) fruit juice (orange, pineapple, or apple juice)
  • 4 cups (1 liter) sparkling water or lemon-lime soda
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lemon or lime juice
  • 23 tablespoons honey, agave syrup, or simple syrup (optional)
  • Handful of fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure out 4 cups (600 g) of frozen mixed fruit, 4 cups (1 liter) of fruit juice, 4 cups (1 liter) of sparkling water or soda, 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lemon or lime juice, and optional sweetener.
  2. In a large pitcher or punch bowl, pour the fruit juice over the frozen mixed fruit. Let it sit for 5 minutes to start thawing the fruit slightly and infuse the juice with flavor.
  3. Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice to brighten the flavor and balance the sweetness.
  4. If desired, add 2-3 tablespoons of honey, agave syrup, or simple syrup. Stir until dissolved and taste to adjust sweetness as needed.
  5. Add the 4 cups (1 liter) of sparkling water or soda last to keep the bubbles lively. Stir gently to combine without flattening the soda.
  6. Garnish with a handful of fresh mint leaves and a few extra frozen fruit pieces on top. Chill in the fridge for 15-20 minutes before serving or serve immediately over ice.
  7. Serve using a ladle or pour carefully to include some frozen fruit in each glass.

Notes

Do not stir vigorously after adding soda to keep the fizz. Frozen fruit acts as natural ice and prevents dilution. Prepare punch base up to a day ahead and add soda just before serving. Adjust sweetness by tasting as you go. For vegan option, use maple syrup instead of honey. For a lighter version, use sparkling water instead of soda.
