Perfect Stargazer S’mores Board

A festive and easy-to-assemble s’mores board featuring patriotic red, white, and blue treats, perfect for Fourth of July and other patriotic celebrations.

Ingredients

  • Graham crackers (traditional rectangular sheets, broken into squares)
  • Large white marshmallows
  • Star-shaped red and blue marshmallows (or regular marshmallows tinted with food coloring)
  • Milk chocolate bars
  • White chocolate chips
  • Fresh berries: sliced strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • Optional toppings: crushed nuts (almonds or pecans), mini chocolate chips, edible glitter
  • Flaming torch or matches (or campfire/grill for toasting marshmallows)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the serving board by laying out a large wooden or slate board and arranging small bowls or ramekins for chocolate chips, nuts, or toppings.
  2. Break graham crackers into 2-inch squares and place evenly spaced on the board, optionally layering some for visual interest.
  3. Slice strawberries thinly; keep blueberries and raspberries whole. Arrange berries in clusters around the board.
  4. Break milk chocolate bars into bite-sized pieces and sprinkle white chocolate chips in ramekins and on the board.
  5. Scatter large white marshmallows and star-shaped colored marshmallows in groups on the board.
  6. Toast marshmallows using a kitchen torch or over a fire pit until golden brown and melty, moving the flame slowly for even caramelization.
  7. Optionally, assemble classic s’mores by sandwiching toasted marshmallow and chocolate between graham cracker pieces to inspire guests.
  8. Sprinkle crushed nuts or edible glitter lightly over the board and fill gaps with leftover berries for a vibrant look.

Notes

Use a low flame on the torch and keep it moving slowly to avoid burning marshmallows. Toast marshmallows just before serving for best texture. Gluten-free and vegan substitutions are possible. Keep a damp cloth nearby for sticky messes. Store leftovers in airtight containers separately to maintain freshness.
