Easy Flavor-Packed Turkey & Cheese Pinwheel Wraps

Quick and delicious turkey and cheese pinwheel wraps perfect for healthy snacks or light lunches, combining creamy cheese, smoky turkey, and tangy mustard in a bite-sized roll.

  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch/25 cm)
  • 8 oz smoked turkey breast slices (225 g), thinly sliced
  • 4 oz cream cheese (115 g), softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (100 g)
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard (Dijon-style preferred)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves (30 g), optional
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, yellow mustard, and honey or maple syrup if using. Stir until smooth and creamy. Add freshly cracked black pepper to taste.
  2. Lay each tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over each tortilla, leaving about ½ inch (1.5 cm) clear at the edges.
  3. Layer smoked turkey slices evenly over the cream cheese. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, followed by sliced green onions and fresh spinach leaves if using.
  4. Starting from one edge, roll each tortilla tightly but gently to form a firm roll that holds together without squeezing out the filling. Optionally, wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 15 minutes to firm up before slicing.
  5. Using a sharp knife, slice each rolled wrap into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pinwheels. Clean the knife between cuts to keep edges neat. Arrange on a platter.
  6. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Bring to room temperature or microwave for 10-15 seconds before serving if desired.

Notes

Soften cream cheese about 30 minutes before starting for easy spreading. Warm tortillas for 10 seconds in microwave if they crack while rolling. Avoid overfilling to prevent tearing. Chill wrapped tortillas before slicing for easier cuts.
